  • Give Way Signage/white lines missing, Beech Avenue @ Urrdale Road.    OUTSTANDING
  • What is the schedule for the Epicormic Growth to be cut from the trees on Nithsdale Road. (Yearly Issue).                                                                                                                OUTSTANDING
  • The footpath adjacent to Dumbreck and the Bowling Club, continually Floods. What is happening and when. Reported to GCC on numerous occasions, no action taken? OUTSTANDING
  • Dumbreck Rd at Torridon Avenue. A bus stop positioned far too close to the roadway causing pedestrians to encroach the road. However, HGV wing mirrors in close proximity to the bus stop and kerbside appears to be dangerous. OUTSTANDING
  • After the road had been repaired Dumbreck Avenue at Dumbreck Road. The white lines have not been reinstated.  Apparently down to the sub-contractor to replace. OUTSTANDING
  • Dumbreck Road between Mosspark Boulevard and Nithsdale Road multiple areas of white paint identifying defect roadway. What is the presumed time scale for repair? OUTSTANDING

The following road defects have had TEMPRORARY repairs done. But in essence the defects still causing issues.

When will said roads be fully repaired? OUTSTANDING

  • Beech Avenue at Urrdale Road. Three exceptionally large holes at this location. 
  • Nithsdale Road between Fleurs Avenue and Dumbreck Rd has a number of serious defects again already reported to Glasgow City Council.

 

Dumbreck Blocked Gully Drains                                                           12-05-2021

Assessments based on comparison to several clear drains.

10 Roads Checked  13 Blocked drains. 9 of the 13 are in Dumbreck Road. 20th April. Sent Christine Martin three photographs of the two blocked drains on Dumbreck Road, which remain blocked.A neighbour had already reported the problem of being splashed upon as cars pass over the flooded kerbside.

Dumbreck Road has the highest total of blocked drains = 9

Poor Road Surfaces.  Wee Fleurs, Nithsdale Road, at M77 bridge, Melfort Ave

                                        Dumbreck Road and Torridon Avenue.

REPAIRED ISSUES

  • Overbridge of the M8 offside lane Dumbreck Road southbound at the traffic lights. Repaired June 2021
